Intensive Residential Treatment provides 24-hour a day treatment and monitoring for individuals in need of a highly structured setting to interrupt their substance use, gain stability, and begin developing the skills for recovery.
Length of stay is based upon an individual's needs. The average length of stay is approximately 21 days.
Residents attend individual and group treatment sessions and other recovery support activities throughout the day and evening with scheduled breaks.

What Residents Can Expect
Intensive Residential
| • | Each resident will share one bedroom and bathroom with 2 other residents of the same gender. Linens and pillows are provided. |
| • | Residents must provide a 30-day supply of any prescribed medications and at least a 30-day supply of personal hygiene items, such as, a toothbrush & toothpaste, shampoo, soap, deodorant and shaving supplies. Aerosol sprays are NOT ALLOWED as they adversely affet our fire alarm system. |
| • | We ask that residents do not bring a vehicle, radio, or other electronic items. Cell Phones are not allowed. |
| • | Meals and evening snacks are provided and special diets are provided as needed. |
| • | On-site laundry facilities are made available on designated days for residents to do their own laundry. Additionally, residents are required to perform daily and weekly housekeeping chores. |
| • | A pay phone is available for use during designated times. |
| • | Smoking is allowed in designated areas outside the facility and at designated times. |
| • | Family involvement is encouraged and visitors are welcome on Sunday afternoons. |
| • | Passes are granted to address legal and medical issues. |
| • | Residents completing treatment are referred to a less intensive residential level or to outpatient treatment for continued recovery support. |
